As the largest creative media production company in Ohio, and among the largest company of it’s type in the nation, employee-owned Mills James specializes in broadcast television and corporate video production, the production and staging of live meetings and special events, and the development and production of web and interactive media.
As Marketing Manager, I wrote corporate news releases and advertorials, spearheaded corporate marketing efforts, wrote and produced sales collateral, developed new business presentations and proposals in support of Mills James’ account management team, and developed web content.
As Market Development Manager, I cultivated new business for the company and actively managed a growing group of key client accounts.
In addition to my business development portfolio, I retained some ongoing responsibilities in providing marketing support for my fellow sales representatives. This included developing social media content, coordinating the company’s search engine optimization efforts, and advising the administrative staff on using social media as a marketing and business development tool.
I also worked on employee communications initiatives surrounding Mills James’ Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP).
In October 2009, nearly six years to the day after I started, I departed Mills James to join the staff at MediaSource.
