Founded in 1998, MediaSource is a full service multimedia production studio and a media relations firm. Unique in the Midwest region with its service offerings, MediaSource provides “brand journalism” services, including video production and multimedia media relations and distribution.
The company excels in health care communications, and has experience in the fashion/retail and food and beverage, and sports sectors.
As the MediaSource’s account manager, I was responsible for attracting new business opportunities and working with existing clients. This included developing and managing project budgets, working closely with the media relations and content teams, and handling project billings.
During my tenure, I generated more than $300,000 in total billings, including $100,000 from clients new to the company.
I prospected for new business opportunities was using social media outreach, researching and responding to RFPs, and representing MediaSource at trade shows and conferences.
My clients included an The Ohio State University Medical Center, The Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine, Cardinal Health and Pacer Global Logistics.
I also assisted the company’s administration with implementing project budgeting, documentation and billing protocols, and aided in updating the business’s CRM system.
In April 2011, I left MediaSource to join Fathom Online Marketing.
